Africa Inland Mission

Africa Inland Mission (AIM) began in 1895 when a handful of men and women set out to spread the Good News to unreached people groups in Africa. To date, there are still over 1,000 African people groups that are without the Gospel. Missionaries working with AIM perform many vital tasks in this Kingdom work, such as training and equipping indigenous believers to lead their own people, Bible translation work, “Jesus Story” film production in local languages, church planting, and even Ethnomusicology (helping African believers craft worship music in their own distinct musical style, rather than simply translating “Western” worship songs or hymns).

Crossroads is privileged to partner with a particular family of AIM in their ministry. Please join Crossroads in praying for their safety and positive influence in Africa.

German-American-Russian Partnership Mission

Since 2014, Crossroads has partnered with a Baptist church in Gera, Germany, and another in Rostov-on- Don, Russia. This unique partnership serves the goal of promoting understanding between three very different cultures that were once World War II enemies, all while demonstrating the reconciliation that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Each year, one of the three church takes its turn serving as the host for the other two mission teams and organizes local mission projects for the combined teams to accomplish.

Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic interrupted our G-A-R-P gatherings for 2020 and 2021.  Then the war in the region interrupted our gatherings for 2022 and 2023.  We look forward to resuming our partnership as soon as possible and celebrating with brothers and sisters from different countries our shared faith in Jesus!

Our relationship with our precious Savior has been deepened and enriched through these friendships and through learning to communicate (even via Google translate!) how we live out gospel truths in these differing environments.

Mission to North America Chaplain Ministries

Mission to North America (MNA) Chaplain Ministries is dedicated to supporting PRCC Chaplains worldwide in a variety of ways. We provide this support by primarily focusing on five main areas:

1) Care: We provide pastoral care to Chaplains and their family members (Shepherd the Shepherds)

2) Credentialing and Ecclesiastical Endorsement : We work with the local Presbyteries to raise up strong Teaching Elders and Civilian Chaplains

3) Cover and Protect: We work to make sure all our PRCC Chaplains are granted the freedom to proclaim Christ and to do so without being restricted

4) Catch and Counsel-Mentor: We help every PRCC Teaching Elder or Seminarian who is interested in the Chaplaincy alongside their Presbytery to process their calling, mentor them, pray with them, and coach them through any issues that might surface through their Chaplain journey

5) Connect Local Congregations to the Chaplaincy: We work to make sure local PRCC congregations understand that our Chaplains are missionaries that need to be prayed for and need to be adopted or sponsored by the congregation

Dr. Don Sampson began serving as an Associate Endorser with PRCC/MNA Chaplain Ministries on July 1st, 2020. He previously served as the pastor of Crossroads Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Woodbridge, Virginia, having led the effort to plant Crossroads in 2002.

Next

Next was founded by Eric and Rebecca Larsen in partnership with Mission To the World (MTW), the mission-sending agency for the Presbyterian Church in America.

This includes recruiting, training, sending, and sustaining next-gen ministers around the world. Their goal is to develop next-gen ministry movements by equipping missionaries, national leaders, and local churches to reach the global "10-30 Window" (10-30 year olds). The Larsens also invest in mission kids by providing resources, training and care for these Third Culture Kids (TCK, formerly known as “Missionary Kids”) and their parents. Because Eric is a TCK himself, and because he and Rebecca grew up as children of ministry leaders, they understand the unique challenges these families face.

Please pray for the Larsens and their vision of “Reaching the Nations and Next Generation.” The Larsens have 4 daughters. Their “home base” is in St. Louis where Eric also teaches a NEXT Institute course in partnership with Covenant Seminary.

Reformed University Fellowship International

Reformed University Fellowship https://ruf.org/ministry/george-mason-university-ruf-international/ (RUF) International at George Mason University is a campus ministry with a focus on serving international students. We believe that each one of these individuals is created in the image of God, and it is a privilege to serve them. We do this through meeting physical needs (airport pickups, grocery shopping, etc.), building community (weekly dinners, cultural events, etc.) and providing a safe environment to explore the foundations of the Kingdom of God. While we are a resource to these students who are far away from family and friends, we also seek to be a resource for the local community, promoting international friendships and cultural exchange.

Matthew Delong started RUF International at Auburn University in 2014 and was the Campus Minister for International Students there until 2018 when he transferred to George Mason University. Matthew and his wife Sherrene have one son, Isaac (2016), and they enjoy servingthe international community together.

Tun Tavern Fellowship

Tun Tavern Fellowship (TTF) is a network of Christians in and around the Marine Corps. It is a Biblically based non-denominational ministry. Believing that church oversight is crucial, TTF is an integrated auxiliary ministry of Crossroads PCA of Woodbridge, VA, which provides financial accountability and oversight. Crossroads’ involvement began with a Crossroads member, James (Chris) Braddy and his wife Sheri. Chris Braddy, LtCol, USMC (Ret) has a huge heart and boundless enthusiasm for the Lord, His Gospel, and the US Marine Corps. Chris began TTF while attending Crossroads PCA and continued to lead it for some time after he and Sheri moved away. TTF is currently headed by another retired Marine, LtCol (Ret) Mike West. Their ministry spans the globe—wherever there are US Marines. We praise God for His ministry among these military leaders. The name, “Tun Tavern Fellowship” derives from the name of a tavern in Philadelphia. On November 10, 1775, Robert Mullan, the proprietor of Tun Tavern was commissioned by an act of Congress to raise the first two battalions of Marines. Those first Marines were under the leadership of Samuel Nicholas, the first appointed Commandant of the Continental Marines.

Please pray for the safety and wellbeing of those who defend our freedom.
